MEET OUR FRIENDS:
LAKOTA: Lakota is a social, playful horse who loves people. He is gentle and easy to love. When people approach the pasture, he will greet them by extending his neck across the fence, hoping to receive a scratch on the head. Because of his curious and funny personality, he will often make people chuckle with delight. Lakota is an experienced lesson horse and has given many children their first ride.
TICKET: Visitors love Ticket because of his beautiful, kind face and willing spirit. His name comes from the phrase, “That’s the ticket” because he learns new things very quickly. Ticket is a people watcher and is always attentive to everything going on around him. Although he may act shy and disinterested at first, don’t let him fool you. He loves making new friends and being around people.
BOGO: He is a miniature horse who enjoys giving love to children and grown ups. He has a sweet personality and a teachable spirit. He has learned several groundwork games and is learning more every day. The Gragg family donated this little blessing because they thought he would be an asset to the farm. They were right! He has proven to have a special place in the hearts of several families who visit the farm. When you meet him, you’ll see what we mean.
PEPPY: Gentle and obedient are two words that describe Peppy. He was generously donated by the Hodges family. Peppy loves to have people ride him. He is quite experienced under saddle and has a nice “pep in his step.” He has fit in quite nicely within the herd and is learning groundwork games.
BISCUIT AND MOOSE: Have you ever met a Miniature Babydoll Southdown sheep? Biscuit and Moose will greet you with their teddy bear looking faces and sweet smiles. They have quickly become favorite friends of the farm.
THE GIRLS: Come meet our flock and watch how entertaining chickens can be! Buzzy Bee, Lola,Cotton, Scooby and Shaggy are just a few of the hens that you will meet.
