At de la Cruz Farms we connect one participant/one family with one session leader. Within this one on one relationship, the session leader can be attentive to needs and recognize opportunities for discipleship. All session activities will be determined by the session leader and will be created in light of the participant’s/family’s strengths, interests and needs. We require that at least one parent/guardian remain on the premises for the duration of the session.
All session leaders must be approved by the Board of Directors, have a face to face interview, pass background checks and have positive reference checks prior to serving on the farm.
Ephesians 2: 19-22 “Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his spirit.”
